Independence, Freedom, Liberty, Self-rule, Self-government, Sovereignty
That¹s what we won on July 4th 1776
Confidence, responsibility, self-reliance, hard work
Independence is a package deal

But we are not truly independent
Every day in countries around the world
Our armed forces stand strong
To uphold our truths, our way of life
The things we love country, flag, home

We depend on that
We depend upon you, our active military
Brothers, sisters, mothers & fathers
To stand up to the challenges of defending
Our precious America

You are counted on every day 
In every decision and around every corner
To get that job done
The one that keeps us safe
And so very lucky to be free

America the beautiful Oh, Yes!
Today, with heart, mind & soul
We thank you for letting us lean on you
With a debt of gratitude America salutes you
On this July 4th, 2009

Thank you God keep you safe & speed you home!
